Today I used my Xyron 250 Create A Sticker for the very first time and I fell in love. This little machine saved me so much time. All I had to do was feed my labels through the machine by turning the handle and like magic a thin layer of adhesive was applied to back of the labels. This made applying them to the outside of my wedding programs so much easier. I purchased my Xyron from Walmart which gave me a little more bang for my buck but you can also purchase the machine from Michaels and when doing so make sure you use your 40% off coupon.

A couple of months ago I gave my bedroom a makeover. I've always wanted to have an all white room. After a couple of months of white I needed a change. Nothing dramatic just a splash of color. Then one day I stumbled upon a red petal pillow at Pier1 and that was the icing on the cake......Adding a splash of red to this invitation gave it the finishing touch it needed. I love it!

It is no secret that I love interiors and fashion. I love it so much that I often embellish many of my invitation designs with crystals, raw silks, midori ribbon, jewels and textured paper. These embellishments give my invitation designs a couture look. That's why I've decided to launch a new blog segment titled Couture Event Correspondence. Couture Event Correspondence will allow you to look at custom stationery in a new light. It will show you just how couture event correspondence really can be.

I'm loving the yellow and grey color combination. I recently discovered just how well these two colors work together.

A couple of months ago I decided to invest in the Adobe software as a way of providing my clients with more options. Previously I was out sourcing my digital print work to another designer for monograms when it dawned on me that I could probably create monograms myself. With the help of my friend Nicole and a few youtube tutorials I was able to learn the basics and create a few stock monograms and invitations.
